Pout Studio

Having the right people in place is what makes a team work. Trina of Pout Studio is my newest Partner/Team Member/Friend Cincy Chic posted an article about her and I just had to share this post! https://www.cincychic.com/beauty/pout-studio

"Starting in Scottsdale, Trina Paul is now the makeup artist and owner of Pout Studio. She recently launched the business, which is located inside of a converted mansion at 821 York St. in Newport Kentucky. Paul has decades of experience working with Prescriptive Cosmetics, Lancôme, Lorac, MAC, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, T. LeClerk, Cle De Peau, Christian Dior, Tom Ford, Chanel, Laura Mercier, Gucci, Dolce Gabana, Guerlain, YSL in department stores such as Nordstrom, Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel’s and Barney’s. Paul says while she worked as a makeup artist in New York, she was with TV and film for five years. “I have worked on reality TV shows, talk shows, investigative news, fashion shows and with many celebrities.” Paul says. Today, she’s the owner of the recently launched Pout Studio, which specializes in making women beautiful for anything from a wedding day to senior portraits, or even getting a little risqué for a boudoir shoot. Since it’s wedding season, that means busy season for Paul. Her bridal pricing is as follows: For $185, The Bride package includes pre-wedding makeup, false lashes and your choice of airbrush or traditional style makeup. The Bridal Party package includes false lashes and airbrush foundation with an a la carte of $75 for the lashes and $20 for airbrush foundation. Paul says after wedding season, she has makeup classes on the agenda. “We will be offering makeup classes which really turn into beauty parties,” Paul explains. “We tailor each one to the client’s needs. We have basic to master classes and everything in between. We have wine and light bites with a professional photographer to capture the fun. We will be launching this on our website in August for more details.” With its historic ambiance and natural light, her studio is also a favorite destination for photographers. In fact, Paul says, there’s a waiting list to shoot there. Their main focus is, of course, her makeup application clients. Paul, and her friend Lindsey Bryan, accept clients by appointment only. “Once the appointment is made,” Paul says. “We can do it in the studio or wherever the clients want us.” What makes Paul and Bryan different, Paul says, is that they realize makeup application is much deeper than just what goes on the skin. “We are both from the retail customer service world so we both understand how important it is to listen to the client and give them exactly what they want from beginning to end,” she says. “We make the client look beautiful but it’s more important to us that she also feels beautiful.”"
